It extremely frustrating to try to play competitively when changing your deck changes who you play against,
and frustrating as a new player when any attempts to improve your deck lead to playing against much more difficult opponents.At this point, a Bo1 competitive queue has become standard in card games, mtg arena needs one. Maybe deck matchmaking can continue to be utilized in casual mode, but there needs to be a bo1 mode where the only thing that matters is your rank.

There literally no way you open 5 packs in HS and get 3 cards of the highest rarity of your choosing from that dust. :PAfter opening 24 packs, arena rewards you with 4 rares (possibly one mythic rare in the mix) already.
The vault is extra on top of that. It not ideal, but you should stop staring at it like it the only way opening card packs matters and then complaining this extra is less than all of the rewards a different game offers. For a proper comparison, you have to do the math on all systems (average chance of wildcard in pack + wildcard wheels + vault) and compare that to HS.
