The National Lacrosse League has announced that the NLL Board of Governors have approved the relocation of the Philadelphia Wings franchise to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut and transfer of controlling ownership to the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, effective for the 2015 season. "On behalf of the entire NLL, we are proud to welcome the Mohegan Tribe as owners, further re-connecting our league with the rich roots of the game," said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.
