Inainte ca adevaratele contractii ale nasterii sa inceapa, ai putea sa ai parte de niste contractii false, cunoscute si sub numele de contractii Braxton-Hicks. Acestea de obicei sunt nedureroase si se manifesta prin intarirea neregulata a uterului pe o durata de 1-2 minute, cu o intensitate mai mare in ultimele saptamani.

Aceste contractii uterine neregulate sunt perfect normale si pot sa isi faca aparitia inca din al doilea trimestru al sarcinii, desi acestea sunt mult mai frecvente in timpul celui de-al treilea trimestru. Scopul lor este de a ajuta corpul sa se pregateasca pentru contractiile reale.

 

Ce simti in momentul in care ai contractii Braxton-Hicks?

Contractiile Braxton Hicks pot fi descrise ca o durere in abdomen, care apare si dispare. Aceste contractii nu sunt de obicei dureroase si nu apar la intervale regulate de timp. Nu cresc in intensitate odata cu mersul pe jos, odata ce devin mai dese si nu se simt mai puternice odata cu trecerea timpului asa cum se intampla atunci cand esti intr-adevar in travaliu.

 

Ce simti in momentul in care ai contractii adevarate?

Modul in care se simte o contractie adevarata - contractie regulata, care anunta momentul nasterii, este diferita de la o femeie la alta si se manifesta diferit de la o sarcina la alta. Contractiie din timpul travaliului provoca disconfort sau o durere in spate si/sau in partea de jos a abdomenului, impreuna cu o presiune la nivelul bazinului. Aceasta apare de obicei din 5 in 5 minute, iar pe parcursul dilatarii colului uterin frecventa si intensitatea ei creste. Unele femei descriu contractiile ca pe niste crampe menstruale mai puternice, in timp ce altele le descriu ca pe niste valuri puternice, care se simt ca si crampele cauzate de diaree.

 

Cum voi sti daca contractiile pe care le simt sunt indicii ale travaliului?

Pentru a-ti da seama daca contractiile tale sunt reale, pune-ti urmatoarele intrebari:

Contractii adevarate

Cat de des apar contractiile?

Contractiile sunt neregulate si nu sunt foarte dese.

Contractiile apar la intervale egale de timp si dureaza intre 30-70 de secunde. Odata cu trecerea timpului sunt tot mai dese.

Se modifica daca te misti?

Contractiile se pot opri atunci cand mergi, te odihnesti, sau schimbi pozitia.

Contractiile continua chiar daca iti schimbi pozitia.

Cat sunt de puternice?

Contractiile sunt de obicei slabe si nu cresc in intensitate. Sau pot sa fie puternice la inceput si sa scada din intensitate pe parcurs.

Contractiile cresc constant in intensitate.

Unde simti durerea?

Contractiile se simt de obicei doar in partea din fata a abdomenului, sau in regiunea pelviana.

Contractiile incep de obicei in partea inferioara a spatelui si trec in partea din fata a abdomenului.

 

Daca consideri ca ai contractii adevarate si ca ai putea sa intri in travaliu, contacteaza-ti medicul imediat. Dar, chiar daca nu esti sigura suna-l si roaga-l sa te ajute!

Daca te confrunti cu oricare din urmatoarele simptome ai putea fi in travaliu:

  • contractiile (inasprirea muschiilor in uter, care provoaca disconfort sau o durere acuta in partea inferioara a abdomenului) la fiecare 10 minute sau mai mult de cinci contractii intr-o ora.
  • dureri regulate de spate sau in abdomen.
  • presiune in pelvis sau vagin
  • crampe asemanatoare celor menstruale
  • sangerare
  • scurgeri de lichid
  • simptome asemanatoare gripei, cum ar fi greata, varsaturi sau diaree.

In schimb, daca ai contractiile Braxton-Hicks, nu este nevoie sa faci nimic cu exceptia cazului in care iti cauzeaza disconfort.

Daca aceste contractii sunt inconfortabile incearca urmatoarele trucuri:

  • fa o plimbare - contractiile false se opresc atunci cand iti schimbi pozitia sau cand te plimbi
  • incearca sa dormi, sau odihneste-te
  • relaxeaza-te
  • bea apa, suc sau ceai de plante
  • ia o gustare sau ceva de mancare
  • fa-ti un masaj.

Este aceasta o contractie adevarata?

Probabil ca nu. Durerile ascutite pe fiecare parte a abdomenului (numite durerile ligamentului rotund) pot fi cauzate de intinderea ligamentelor care sprijina uterul in continua crestere.

Pentru a usura acest disconfort:

  • incearca sa schimbi pozitia sau activitatea
  • asigura-te ca ai consumat suficiente lichide (cel putin sase-opt pahare de apa, suc, sau lapte pe zi)
  • incearca sa te odihnesti.

Cand ar trebui sa apelez la el?

Doctorul tau trebuie sa fie mereu disponibil pentru a raspunde la intrebarile tale si pentru a te ajuta sa-ti dai seama daca contractiile tale sunt false sau nu. Nu-ti fie teama sa apelezi la medicul tau daca nu esti sigura de ceea ce simti. El sau ea poate sa-ti puna cateva intrebari pentru a te ajuta sa determini daca contractiile sunt adevarate. Daca ai orice fel de intrebare, e mai bine sa te consulti cu doctorul tau.

Este esential sa-ti suni doctorul daca ai:

  • orice sangerare vaginala
  • scurgeri de lichid sau umezeala, sau daca ti se rupe apa (poate fi resimtita ca o "tasnire" de lichid)
  • contractii puternice la fiecare 5 minute timp de o ora
  • contractii pe care nu poti sa le controlezi
  • o schimbare vizibila in miscarile copilului sau daca simti mai putin de 10 miscari la fiecare doua ore
  • orice simptome de contractii daca nu esti insarcinata inca in 37 de saptamani de sarcina.
